Support Services for Recreation Programs
In Chestermere we believe that all children should have the opportunity to play! There are several programs that support our mission to make recreation accessible and barrier free for all.

Subsidy
Christmas with Dignity: A local fund for individuals and families that live in Chestermere and SE Rocky View to meet their basic needs. Funds can be used toward supporting children and youth to partake in sport and recreational opportunities that they would otherwise would not be able to.
JumpStart: Funding is available to children and youth ages 4 to 18 from families in financial need. Funding can be used towards registration fees, equipment and/or transportation.
KidSport: Funding is available to children and youth 18 years and under. Funding supports families facing social and economic barriers and can be used towards registration fees and equipment.
Kids Up Front: Looking for opportunities to take the family to cultural and sport exhibition activities? Connect with the Community Resource Centre to be added to our notification list for future opportunities. For families experiencing financial hardship.
